Creating a recurring plan takes about 3 minutes. Go to Settings โ Recurring Plans โ New Plan. Choose a name, service type, frequency, price, and any checklist items. Save the template. Then, on any customer's record, click "Add Recurring Plan" and select your template. The system takes it from there.
By default, recurring jobs are created 14 days before the scheduled date so they appear in your dispatch calendar with enough lead time to assign a technician. You can configure this window from 7 to 60 days in settings depending on your planning needs.
Customers can reschedule via the reminder SMS link or through the Customer Portal. When they reschedule, the specific occurrence moves to the new date โ but the recurring schedule remains on track for future visits. The next visit still generates based on the original plan frequency.
Yes. You can pause any recurring plan for any duration. While paused, no new jobs generate, no invoices send, and no reminders go out. When you resume, the plan picks up from the next scheduled date. This is useful for customers who are traveling, doing renovations, or seasonally inactive.
